We were There: Nature One 2010 – The video interviews: DJ Moguai. Massive sound system, fantastic lighting effects, high-tech decoration and of course the best line up that you can think off are the winning elements that Nature One is made up and for that reason carries on for many successful years. Except the mind-blowing DJ sets the visitors have the chance to experience Live performances from some very hot artists. Some of the names performed live in this year’s event were in the Open Air Floor for example: TokTok vs. Soffy O, Lutzenkirchen, Einmusik, Gregor Tresher, Giuseppe Ottaviani and DJ Moguai.

Audio Interview with BT (Brian Transeau). He is certainly one of the most influential and groundbreaking figures in the electronic dance music scene. Not only composing music with instruments or software that other people have conceived but mainly by inventing and creating new software himself to manipulate sound and human voice and bring out to the open something that the listener is invited to experience for the first time. From his first album at Paul’s Oakenfold Perfecto label in UK called IMA released in October 1995,. It included his collaboration with singer and songwriter, Tori Amos on "Blue Skies and the 42 minute epic tune "Sasha's Voyage of Ima, through his inspirational and very personal “This Binary Universe” that music critics and fans appraised , to his last double CD “These Hopeful Machines”. BT always manages to bring to his fans worldwide, music compositions, that are unique, very personal and intimate, but which anyone can identify, with and see in the lyrics, parts of himself.

We were There: Nature One 2010 – The video interviews: Gareth Emery. It was an unbelievable experience to live and breathe for 2 days, the best electronic dance music from the very able hands of some of the most happening Dj’s and producers like Gareth Emery. He totally rocked the crystal clear sound system of the Open Air floor on Friday from 04.30 till 06.00. He also performed at Heaven’sGate/Butan tent from 02.00 until 03.00, and he smashed it there as well. Of course, one week before I was present at his performance at Tomorrowland 2010 in Belgium. At 'A State Of Trance floor', you could tell from the audience’s reaction, that Gareth has a very personal way to build a set, according to the time he performs, and the audience he has in front of him.

Interview with Cosmic Gate about their album Sign of the Times – Deluxe Edition that is out now via Black Hole recordings. Sign of the Times-Deluxe Edition features 2.5 hours on the double CD format, and the digital release nearly 4 hours of non-stop quality Cosmic Gate music! The release of the Deluxe Edition of this very important album in the ever-growing career of the talented German dance music producers, Claus Terhoeven (Nic Chagall) and Stefan Bossems (DJ Bossi), is certainly the big news in the dance music scene this summer. The majority of the tracks included within Sign of the Times manage to get a release as autonomous singles, and top the charts on various download portals.

We were There: Nature One 2010 – The video interviews: Tom Novy. Every year, at the end of July, and first days of August, the biggest outdoor festival 'Nature One' in Germany takes place. Apart from the always-impressive Open-Air Floor, there is the House of House floor, that represents all the current trends in house music. During the whole festival the tent was packed with 20 tonnes of material, and the most fantastic part of the decoration the gigantic “light balls” with 80 moving lights that create fantastic atmosphere on the dance floor. The line-up this year included amongst others, artists like Falko Niestolik, The Disco Boys, Oliver Koletzki, Guy J, Boris Dlugosh, Terry Lee Brown Junior, Dominik Eulberg, Oliver Huntemann and the always smiling and energetic behind the decks Tom Novy. Actually, Tom is one of my heroes.

Interview with Pedro del Mar about his lounge/chill out mixed CD “Playa Del Lounge” which is out now via “Black Hole recordings” Its summer and you are back where you belong. You are so angry with your government, the mayor of your city, who never repairs the damaged city streets, and there is no safe parking for your car. You are angry with your neighbour who constantly throws his rubbish in your garden; you are disappointed with your girlfriend/boyfriend because she/he promised to call you but he/she never did. You feel that the word is grey after returning from your crazy nights out in your favourite holiday resort, and you wish something would change your situation at least for some minutes.

We were There: Nature One 2010 – The video interviews: Ferry Corsten. Nature One was an absolutely stunning festival in all its aspects. The amazing lighting effects, the loud sound system on every single floor, the magnificent DJ's/producers performing their brilliant DJ or live sets, and the high standards of security and safety were the most vital in my opinion. Everything was perfectly timed and each DJ bigger or smaller had their specific allocated time that they could not even pass for a minute. Ferry Corsten's set was Saturday night from 03.30 till 05.00, and thank god the rain that was falling during the Nature One Inc performance, and Armin van Buuren’s, set stopped - allowing his fans to enjoy his massive set. Last year Ferry was a bit unlucky as the rain was falling during his set, but still many people with all the possible means covered themselves and were dancing along with his always-intriguing selection of top tunez.

WE WERE THERE: Tomorrowland 2010 - Two days that will be remembered for ever. It was unbelievable and totally worth it to be there. Tomorrowland 2010 took place 24th-25th of July at Boom, in one of the most beautiful recreational parks I’ve ever seen, near Antwerp in Belgium and attracted 120.000 visitors in total for both days. It was a big Success in every sense, and this was evident from the satisfied faces of all those party people that had a great time without any troubles and hassle. The most happening Dj’s at the moment, played their best DJ sets as a result of the positive vibe of the place. If you love Trance as I do, on Saturday First State, Airbase, Solarstone, Lange, Activa and Jon O'Bir rock their tents, and on Sunday Armin van Buuren on his State of Trance stage was joined by the legendary Paul Oakenfold, Gareth Emery, Rank 1, Menno de Jong, and the always impressive Markus Schultz. If you love progressive sounds, the new breed of progressive house Dj’s were there as well on Versuz or Smash, The House stages.
