Sebastian Mesa, known as Backstian was born and raised in the beautiful city of Medellin - Colombia, a city marked by his past. His passion for music began at the age of 15 with Techno.

In 2013 he found the Trance scene and is captivated due to its amazing bass and extraordinary melodies, capable of making him feel powerful emotions in a moment.

Little by little he explored many genres: Psy, Progressive, Tech, Chillout  and sub-genres to fit perfectly with the uplifting Trance, and he fell in love with it.

He recently started his uplifting trance project called 'Trancetion' which is packed with the best and the most beautiful sounds of this genre.
